Car Insurance Nissan (Car Insurance). can you run a 1992 integra without a radiator fan?

can you run a 1992 integra without a radiator fan?

No. The car will overheat unless being driven at a good speed. Idling, stopping and starting, slow speed driving will all cause overheating, even in winter. If it weren't necessary, Honda wouldn't have built it into the car. No... It's an essential part of keeping the engine cool

Suzuki limited US motorcycle imports, can someone explain? Suzuki has not imported any new GS500F since 2009 even though they continue to produce them, can someone explain: I know Suzuki did not import new models in 2010 so dealers could get rid of inventory. Now the 2011 models are in and no new GS500F's are scheduled to come in. When do 2012 models come out and is there any way of knowing ahead of time which models will be brought to the US. I know there are a few new 09's spread out around but not many. Thanks for any help. car insurance.

Nissan . What would you do? Repair the car or buy a replacement vehicle?

What would you do? Repair the car or buy a replacement vehicle? One mechanic says he suspects my '94 Toyota has a bad head gasket. He says that repair will cost $2,000 (but he could be inflating that price). I have owned the car for only a few months. I bought it cheap but I'm a student and this repair cost will be very hard on me. I can't afford to buy anything but another super-cheap car to replace this one and I'm afraid I'll just buy something else with huge problems. So am I better off staying with this devil car I know, or getting a replacement, potentially devil car. Thanks car insurance.

Nissan . How to Replace Audi TT Coil Packs

A common problem among Audis and Volkswagens involves ignition coil packs suddenly failing and causing your engine's cylinders to misfire. Though you may still be able to drive your car if an ignition coil pack has gone bad, ignoring it will only make it worse and cause other coil packs to degrade. Fortunately, the procedure to change them is simple, takes only a few minutes and requires only a flat-blade screwdriver along with new coil packs. The procedure for changing coil packs in the Audi TT duplicates that of other VW and Audi models, as the two manufacturers share the same engine platforms.
Difficulty:Moderately Easy
Instructions Things You'll Need
Replacement coil packs
Flat-blade screwdriver

Step by Step :
1
Park your Audi TT on a level surface, and pop the car's hood.
2
Remove the plastic engine cover that surrounds the oil filler neck to reveal the coil packs. Remove any plastic screws securing the engine cover in place using your flat-blade screwdriver.
3
Position the head of the screwdriver underneath the top of the coil pack, pressing down on the screwdriver's handle to pry the coil pack loose. Once you have loosened the coil pack, gently pull it up and out.
4
Press down on the plastic notch at the base of the coil pack's connector, and pull the coil pack out of the wiring harness.
5
Insert the new coil pack into the wiring harness, and gently slide it back down on top of the spark plug. Press and click it into place to secure it.
6
Repeat steps 4 and 5 on any other coil packs you plan to replace.
7
Reinstall the plastic engine cover and close your hood to complete the procedure.

Nissan . How do I Check a Jeep Grand Cherokee Coil Pack?

The 2000 through 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee L6 4.0L 6-cylinder engines employ a coil pack as part of the ignition system. A coil pack converts the energy from your 12-volt battery into the 35,000 plus volts needed to fire the spark plugs. A bad coil pack can cause the engine to misfire. The coil pack has three separate ignition coils bundled into one unit and you must replace the entire unit if one of the coils is faulty. You can test the coil pack in your Jeep Grand Cherokee by measuring the electrical resistance of the coil pack with an ohmmeter.
Difficulty:Moderate
Instructions Things You'll Need
Safety glasses
Ratchet set
Ohmmeter

Step by Step :
1
Put on your safety glasses and open the hood. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery and place it out of the way so that it will not make contact with the battery terminal while you work.
2
Locate the coil pack. The coil pack is a long black unit, bolted directly on the cylinder head on the left side of the engine. The coil pack attaches directly to the spark plugs.
3
Remove the four coil pack mounting bolts using a ratchet.
4
Pry the coil pack away from the engine head. Grasp each end of the coil pack and work it back and forth until you can remove the coil pack boots from the spark plugs.
5
Lift the coil pack up slightly until you gain access to the electrical connector on the back side of the unit. Depress the clip on the electrical connector and unplug it from the coil pack. Remove the coil pack.
6
Place the coil pack on a flat surface.
7
Turn on your ohmmeter and set it to the 20,000 ohms range.
8
Touch the ohmmeter leads to the connectors in the first spark plug boot. Your meter should read from 6,000 to 30,000 ohms. Repeat this on each spark plug boots. Replace the coil pack if the measurement falls outside of this range.
9
Set the ohmmeter to the 10 ohms range. Touch the center prong on the electrical connector with one of the leads and the first spark plug boot with the other. Your meter should read less than 2 ohms. Repeat this while touching the second lead to each spark plug boot. Replace the coil pack if the measurement is higher than 2 ohms.

Step by Step :
10
Replace the coil pack with a working coil pack, if necessary. Reinstall it following the removal procedure in reverse.

Even the happiest, most beautifully tuned vehicle overheats occasionally. If you find yourself in stop-and-go traffic on an extremely hot day, chances are that your car's dashboard temperature indicator will rise or a warning light will come on. Here's how to help your vehicle regain its cool: At the first sign of overheating, shut off your air conditioner and open your windows. Doing so decreases the load on the engine and helps it cool off. If you continue to overheat, turn on the heater and blower. Doing so transfers the heat from the engine to the interior of the car. (This does wonders for your overheated engine but very little for you!) If you're stopped hi traffic and the temperature gauge is rising, shift into Neutral and rev the engine a little. Doing so makes the water pump and the fan speed up, which draws more liquid and air through the radiator. The increased air and liquid circulation helps cool things off. Try not to ride your brakes. Crawl along slowly, on little more than an idle, rather than moving up and then braking repeatedly. Brake drag increases the load on the engine and makes it heat up. If traffic is crawling, move up only when the gap between you and the vehicle in front of you gets too wide. .Chapter 21: What to Do If Your Car Drops Dead or Won't Start AAJ * If you think that your vehicle is about to boil over, drive to the side of the road, open the hood, and sit there until things cool off. Remember, don't open the radiator cap under these circumstances, and if your engine has boiled over, don't add water until the engine is quite cool again. If you must add water when the engine is still a little warm, add the water while the engine is running in Neutral. Follow the instructions at the beginning of this chapter to park where you can safely get out and open your hood. Then, to avoid the possibility of burning yourself, follow the instructions in Chapter 14 for opening a radiator pressure cap and adding liquid to the system safely. Sometimes very hot weather causes vapor lock, which makes your car stop 959 Car Insurance 2008 chevrolet express 1500 passenger lsvan3d 343807

without warning and refuse to go again. You can find the simple remedy for this problem in the "Fuel" section, earlier in this chapter. Overheating When It Isn't Hot Outside Although hot weather is the most common cause of overheating, many other factors can cause the same problem. If your vehicle overheats in traffic in normal weather, one of the following may be the culprit: * The water and coolant level in the radiator is low. If you haven't checked your fluid level in a while (or ever), check it now, either by looking at the level through the side of the coolant recovery system or by following the instructions in "Check the Radiator" in Chapter 3. * There's a leak in the cooling system. Chapter 14 has an entire section that explains where to look for leaks in various parts of the cooling system and what to do after you find them.

Nissan . Who made the first automobile?

i think mercedes at least publically. Volvo XC70.
*
* If you can't locate any leaks, your thermostat may be malfunctioning. Obviously, you can't replace the thermostat at the side of the road, but Chapter 14 has instructions for doing so cheaply and easily once you're safely back home. In the meantime, you can eliminate this malfunction as a possibility if you wait until the engine cools down completely and use those instructions to remove the old thermostat and reconnect the hoses. If the car starts up and runs well without the thermostat, the old one was probably screwing up the works. Get a new thermostat immediately if you find that your old one isn't working. If you drive for long distances without a thermostat, you can damage your engine. * If none of these seems to be the problem and your vehicle continues to overheat, check out "Overcoming Overheating" in Chapter 14. Part IV: Dealing with On-the-Road Emergencies. If \lour Car Won't Start Before I end this chapter, consider those wonderful days when your car won't start. If you left your lights, heater, radio, or some other electrical gizmo on after you parked the car, you know what the trouble is: Your battery is dead. Of course, there are other possible reasons that your car won't start. The next section, "Won't-start symptoms," lists them. The last section, "Jumping a start," explains the safest way to jump-start your vehicle. Won't-start symptoms

Nissan . While doing a you-turn with your turning light on your car got rear ended who is at fault?

Volvo XC70. Volvo XC90. Yugo Cabrio. Yugo GV.
*
Your car may not start for a number of reasons. The following list outlines the most common circumstances and tells you what action you can take to try to remedy each situation: * The car is silent when you turn the key in the ignition. Check the battery terminal cable connections (see Chapter 3). If they look very corroded, force the point of a screwdriver (with an insulated or wooden handle) between the connector and the terminal post and twist it to lodge it firmly. Then try to start the engine. If it starts, you need to clean or replace your cables. You can find instructions for cleaning them in Chapter 3. The car makes a clicking noise but won't start. This sound usually means a dead battery. If not, check the wiring to and from the starter for a loose connection. * The car cranks over but won't start. Check the fuel supply to your engine (see "Fuel" earlier in this chapter, and Chapter 13). If that's okay, check whether the electrical spark is getting through (see "Fire," earlier in this chapter, and Chapter 12). * The engine starts but dies. If your car has a carburetor, check your carburetor adjustment and your choke to see whether the choke is first closing and then opening. (Chapter 13 has instructions for both of these checks.) If you have fuel injection, you'll need professional help.

The car won't start on rainy days. Check inside the distributor cap for dampness (see "Servicing Your Distributor" in Chapter 12). If you find moisture, get some mechanic's solvent from your friendly service station — they use it to clean car parts — or buy an aerosol can of it at an auto supply store. To evaporate any dampness inside the distributor cap, turn the cap upside down and pour or spray some solvent into it. Swish it around and pour it out. Then dry the cap as best you can with a clean, lint-free rag and replace the cap. .Chapter 21: What to Do If Your Car Drops Dead or Won't Start A /j 2 Use only clean solvent; even a tiny speck of dirt can foul the points. Gasoline won't do because a spark can ignite gasoline fumes and cause an explosion or a fire. *" The car won't start on cold mornings. For vehicles with carburetors, check the choke. Is it closed? Does it open? See Chapter 13 for details. If you have fuel injection, you'll need to have a professional diagnose the cold-start problems.
